On CRTGamer's recomendation, I wanted to pick up DK Jungle Beat (watched some videos of it, it looked fun). I searched the GameStop website and the local store had one in stock so I stopped there on the way home from work today. Luckily, they only had ONE in stock but it was CIB. So here's my score for today!...

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: $4.49
Super Monkey Ball: $5.39
Super Monkey Ball 2: $4.49

Aint nothing like picking up CIB games for $5 a pop.

Rant about when I got rung up:
Maybe this little bit should go in the GameStop thread, but oh well... The one dude working there seemed cool. He greeted me as I walked in, and he seemed nice. He was about to ring me up when another employee made it clear that they wanted to ring me up. I was able to deduce that the second employee was new and wanted the experience ringing up customers. So this second employee takes a little longer to find the games, but that's OK, I wasn't in a hurry. I wasn't too happy with the way he or she (I really couldn't tell which - I'm not even trying to be mean, I literally could not tell) handled the discs when putting them in the case. Didn't even check them. Usually I notice the employees giving the disc a quick check before selling it to me. But on top of that, this employee kept checking his or her cell phone. I was thinking, give him or her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she or he has notes on there like a register code or something. But she/he kept checking the phone, and at one point actually told me to hold on for a second. I looked at the screen of the phone and noticed it was a text message conversation. This person was reading text messages in the middle of ringing me up and actually told me to hold on! Oh em gee, double you tee eff! There's an entire generation of people that are completely addicted to their phones, when their phone receives a message they INSTANTLY have to check it. They can't even wait to finish ringing up a customer!

Did you call to complain to the manager? Do so immediately.

yeah honeslty, telling you to hold on mid-transaction so they could text is an instant report-it-to-the-manager thing. Look at yr receipt. There's a survey to fill out online for the transaction.

Even if you are adverse to calling and speaking to a manager, defintely make sure you give the feedback and very low ratings on the survey.

Give me the GameStop's # and the employee's name and I'll call the manager.

Joke's on you: that was the manager and he only responds to text messages (and while at work).
