Re: Thurs Night Budget PS3 Fight Club -- 12/8 VOTE NOW!
Sidebar until next week:
Realized I needed a pad for the PS2 and picked this one up rather inexpensively today:
I need to put a lot more reps in with my arcade sticks as I am much more comfortable using a good 6 button pad.
Now to continue my hunt for the Dreamcast ascii pad

that's the exact fight pad I use. I got a cheapo PS2/USB adapter and it's what I'm always pounding away on for fight nights. I love that thing.retrosportsgamer wrote:Sidebar until next week:

I also have the MadCatz PS3 wireless version of that (also Chun-Li). It's a bit bigger than the PS2 one, which is nice. But it's also a lot lighter. I'd probably use it far more often if it were rechargable like the DualShock3 rather than requiring AA batteries.
tl;dr: nice score! I love that fightpad!

Same here. Down with Street Fighter. I wish I could have voted for BlazBlue again. Too bad there isn't a PS3 Guilty Gear.
What about Battle Fantasia? Or not good enough?

I love SSF4, but I feel like a lot of us play it a lot anyway. So I'm looking forward to playing other things. I wish there was a PS3 Guilty Gear too!ZenErik wrote:Same here. Down with Street Fighter. I wish I could have voted for BlazBlue again. Too bad there isn't a PS3 Guilty Gear.

HEY! I didn't even know about Battle Fantasia. It looks pretty cool. How much is it on PSN? I'll add it to the list in the first post and can include it on a future poll.

Looks like it was $20 when it came out. Not sure if it's still the same. I've been looking for the 360 version because the PS3 version did not get a physical release over here.. But maybe I'll look for a European/Japanese PS3 release instead if people are down for playing it online.noiseredux wrote:I love SSF4, but I feel like a lot of us play it a lot anyway. if the UK/JPN imports are cheap enough, I'd import too. But this strikes a question we still haven't sorted out -- if you get say the Euro physical release, can you play with those that download the US version on PSN?
Same question applies to Arcana Heart 3.
