Retro Sports Gamer's World

Post by retrosportsgamer »

I recently picked up a second entertainment center for my game room and did a gigantic reorg. I'm pretty excited with the layout.

As a note - my Xbox 360 and Wii (plus currently played games) are in our living room on the 50" Plasma, so that is why there are games but no system in the pictures.

Pic 1: view from the door of the entire setup. Yes, this is indeed the room where RSG defeated Sevin-o-seven 1-on-1 in NBA Jam: On Fire Edition

Pic 2: 8 systems, one setup with a 32 inch LCD

Pic 3: Tower 1 - from SNES/GC/N64/Wii through PS1 and all my Sega games (and some systems - 32x, Master system, Nomad, Genesis 3 are there). The Sega CD box is bigger than an Atari 5200 - pain in the ass to store (I keep the system in there).

Part II posting shortly

Pic 4: Love my CRT setup as I've had a number of issues with the Neo Geo and PC Engine Duo-R on the LCD (mainly slight flickering on the side which I can't live with)

Pic 5: Rest of the library including a Neo Geo shelf (with NGPC) and on the right are two shelves with the Atari 2600 and lastly my 3DO. The two bins have all my extra controllers and cables.

Hope everyone enjoys. I'm thinking I should have sent the bigger picture files as these guys are a little grainy but hopefully they get the job done. 8)

Nice room! That place is packed with goodness, and that Trinitron looks awfully familiar. :P

A KV-24FS100 it is - nice call, and thanks.

I keep my eye out on Craigslist, there is a particular 27" WEGA that I want - the KV27FV310. Has a number of component outputs, almost had one over the summer.

Looks like an awesome place to game man. You get extra points for the Neo Geo AES and PC Engine Duo-R :D
