 ^ I'm going to solely blame it on my co-op partner then. We were bouncing off of each other, which is perilous when you have many opportunties to fall to your death.

 Yeah, I yelled at my brother plenty of times while playing New SMB Wii. "THANKS! YOU JUST KILLED ME!!!"

And playing Kirby, so many times... "Wait! Don't kill him, I wanna eat him... Nope, too late. That's OK, I didn't wanna be Ninja Kirby."

You gotta learn how to play together, or it's not worth playing at all. It's just too frustrating. For example though, sometimes in New SMB Wii, during a difficult platforming part, I would pick up Luigi and cross the area then put him down. Much easier than the both of them trying to cross at the same time and fucking each other up. But above all else, Mario or Kirby, you can't just focus on yourself. You have to watch the other player and make sure you're not fucking him/her over.

To the people who've played this, does this game feel more like a Sakurai game (Dream Land, Adventure, Super Star) or a Shimomura game (Dream Land 2, Dream Land 3, 64: The Crystal Shards)?

To me, this game feels almost exactly like Kirby's Adventure.

That's good to hear then. I've never cared for the Shimomura games.

Really? I've always found the "Dark Matter Trilogy" to be my favorite set of games in the series. A lot of that is probably because of Rick the Hamster though(so cute!).

Are there any harder Kirby games? Something on the level of New Super Mario Bros Wii?

All the Kirby games are pretty easy.

Hardest one I can think of is maybe Kirby's Adventure, and even that one isn't difficult.

Does anyone else find that Kirby's Adventure on NES is harder than its GBA remake?

Actually I think the opposite. In the remake it feels like kirby is a lot larger than in the original. This makes boss fights a lot more claustrophobic.

The game really wasn't on my radar to be honest. Then I heard it supports 4 player coop and became extremely interested in it.

I absolutely loved playing 4 player New Super Mario Bros. Wii with my friends so this new Kirby game might be a blast to play through. Even thought NSMB was difficult at times, that was the best part. Nothing like yelling at your friends and just laughing your asses off all while playing through a game is the reason why you play games. Even though I heard RTD was pretty easy, it looks like it will be a lot of fun to play. Definitely interested in picking it up.

I don't know, something about them just never really clicked with me. I've tried several times to get into them but just never really enjoyed myself. I've always been an Adventure/Super Star guy.

Why did the price get jacked up to $75 ?

http://www.amazon.com/Kirbys-Return-Dre ... d_sim_vg_5

Why does that happen to some games for? I've noticed this happening on Amazon before, but I don't recall any specific games or what time of the year it was. Is it sold out from online retailers do to a Christmas rush so sellers that still have stock jack the price up? It's just weird that a game that came out a few months ago suddenly is going for $25 more than it's regular retail price.

The save file that I was playing with my brother, we just got the last of the 120 gears. I think I already mentioned, but I started playing (singleplayer) the hard mode. It's definitely a lot tougher, you can't take nearly as many hits (half?). This makes the boss fights harder as well.

I fucking love Ninja Dojo. My brother and I have had a blast playing this mini game. We've each gotten (at separate times) 8 bulls eyes, I wanna try and get 10. I think I still have at least half of the challenge levels (that you unlock with gears) to play. I haven't been playing them because they're only singleplayer.

At this point, this is definitely one of my favorite games on the Wii. I think it might be tied with New SMB Wii for my favorite sidescroller platformer.
