You mean 3rd Party DC memory cards right? Cuz unless I'm misinformed, only Sega ever made a (V)isual (M)emory (U)int. Or do u really own an actual VMU with 4 banks for memory? O_o

Flodder im a little confused are you asking if the DC is suppose to sound loud or is the drive freezing up on you. If its loud thats normal to a point each one has a almost unique sound to it. Some games make it run quieter some nosier. Only if the pitch that you will come accustomed to changes then worry. But they all sound like its grinding rocks into coffee grinds...lol
Curtsy when you walk by that Dreamcast

I've owned three Dreamcasts. My first one was brought brand new and lasted 9 years before it broke. That console was so loud, I initially thought I had purchased a faulty/dodgy console and was even thinking about taking it back. Then I learned that the noise was common for Dreamcasts so didn't bother.
I've bought 2 Dreamcasts since my original broke (one as backup) and I can confirm they're all loud as hell lol, but oddly the noise seems to differ ever so slightly between consoles.

Was playing revolt today when i accidently janked the controller out of its port, controller ports popped, fixed that, now the controller is messed up to the point where if you bend the wire, it affects the speed of the fan.....on both the console i bought and the one i had to fix for a friend!
so i ordered a controller online, and we'll see....

y'know it's funny. Have you ever had a long time girlfriend (let's call her Sonya) and everything's good, but for some reason you can't help but have a wandering eye? So you cut the girl loose -- for no real reason other than the bird-dog in you. And you start hanging out with some more exotic and crazy girl (let's call her Daisy). At first it's a whirlwind of excitement because you don't know what to expect from this chick. She's loud, and unpredictabe. She makes no sense sometimes (but it's okay because at least she makes you laugh... plus you both drink a lot). But then after a month or two the excitement kind of wears off because really this bitch is out of control... she's high maintainance and a bit high maintainance (especially when it comes to importing) and really what you need is to settle down with a nice dependable girl who "gets you." Then you start looking around for Sonya's number again.Flodder450 wrote:Was playing revolt today when i accidently janked the controller out of its port, controller ports popped, fixed that, now the controller is messed up to the point where if you bend the wire, it affects the speed of the fan.....on both the console i bought and the one i had to fix for a friend!
