VT is one of my favorite SEGA franchises, which is pretty crazy considering there is no real main character to hook me in (like Sonic or Ryo Hazuki) and I'm not a tennis fan. But the SEGA arcade goodness, the crazy mini-games and the music are really what make it so good. Oh, and the gameplay of course
Wow, I never would've expected something like this. It's good to see Sega giving their game this sort of respect. Virtua Tennis is one of those games that's just plain fun through and through.
First time I saw VT it was on a special Naomi flatscreen arcade cabinet. I could have swore I was watching a tennis match on TV. Got that and Tennis 2K2 (VT 2) on the DC. Was not EVEN a tennis fan but it's a very fun series.

Great link i didnt even know it had been made , im also a huge fan of the series.
Ive played multiple different people and never lost a Singles or Doubles match i still hold a 100% win ratio.
checkout my Youtube Video of Virtua Tennis 2 running on my Astro i uploaded a while ago. I will be getting a new Digital Camera mid December so ill be uploading better quality Vids in the future , btw dont go Full Screen with it it looks terrible.
VT2 is one of the two titles I have for Naomi. I even bought the "7seg Winner Lamp" harness for my Versus City just so I can have the flashing orange top let everyone know I won (and it keeps a count of your streak!).

ALSO I was wondering how that Sonic/Sega tennis game is?
Dude, there's a Curien Mansion court...
The Wii version is STILL in constant rotation at my house. Great cast of characters and court variety; and fun missions/mini-games that allow you to unlock tons of extras. I can't think of another tennis title I like or play more - motion controls are also a definite plus.
