Good score on the Bongos, handy having Relatives spread out!Ziggy587 wrote:Looks neat, I'll have to check that one out.CRTGAMER wrote:Gamestop has the bongos used for $1.99.![]()

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, grab it! Sidescrolling platformer that uses the bongos, definitely unique!
I did a zip code search and there were a few stores that had them, kinda far though. Luckily my brother was close to one today and picked me up the bongos! My (brother's) find for today: DK Bongos: $1.99 @ GameStop! Can't beat that price.
I was playing Donkey Konga (1) for a while with my brother. It's kinda lame, actually. Reminds me of Guitar Hero, which I despise. But $4 for the game and $2 for the bongos, I don't feel like I wasted money on it. The game isn't that bad. I'm interested to check out Jungle Beat though, and I think there's another DK bongo game. Some kind of racing game?
There is a Donkey Konga 2 and a Japanese only version of Donkey Konga 3. Donkey Konga 2 has crappy music compared to the first one, but a couple of good mini games.
Great Finds! Medievil is one of my favorite PS1 games.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:Scored at Goodwill today:
Silent hill (complete and so clean I'd swear it was new) - $2
MediEvil (in same condition as Silent Hill) - $2

This was factory sealed but because I'm nosey and wanted to try and straighten the box up I opened it.

ebay £5.20 posted.
I see a Slow button on the top, I guess that would flash the Saturn Start button as a pause signal? What are the other slide switches, AutoFire intensities for each button and trigger?
Oh and if anyone Googles this, be sure to include Sega in the Saturn Voyager search.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I could never get into the bongos. Just felt really cheap and boring to me. I got both pairs that I had for $2 each at GS, but ended up selling them at a yard sale over the Summer. They're just not worth the cost of shipping.

The Mod in me is thinking of converting one for all the rapid "Wiggle Joystick" sports games. Imagine the look if someone actually played a game this way.noiseredux wrote:I could never get into the bongos. Just felt really cheap and boring to me. It's got 2 slow settings, yes the slider buttons are for auto/turbo/off.CRTGAMER wrote:Very nice! That is a crazy looking GamePad.

Here's a better pic..

Also the back of the pad is rather odd, it seems to have a compartment in it, it's too stiff for me to slide it open so i'll leave it alone.
Looking at the shape of the back I think it's made to be connected to the end of a controller arm on a retail game pod
What d'ya reckon?

The following Youtube review convinced me to track it down.
I've edited the original post to include the important info I left out.

The compartment could be for batteries for a vibration motor? As for the segments I think its just the design of the hand grips.Demented Collector wrote:Voyager controller for Sega Saturn, made by Logic 3, model No.JT481
