Shining the Holy Ark is good. And if you like jRPGs there are some that are quite fun.

Shining Wisdom is a cool Zelda esque game. I played it long ago and haven't picked up up again, but someday....

Albert Odyssey is ok, very old school, tons of random battles and level grinding. I got through half way and gave up.

You could try out Blazing Heros(Mystaria) if you like strategy or Magic Knight Rayearth if you like anime stuff.

Here is a thread with some more info too!

thanks for the input guys.

i am really into RPGS that are like Shining Force 2. I love turned based/tactics stuff. but at the same time i enjoy stuff like final fantasy and skies of arcadia style rpgs

Well, if the Shining Force stuff is for you and you can take crappy graphics, try Mystaria/Blazing Heroes (had to rename the game over trademark conflict with TSR). The graphics are crappy with a low frame rate, but the combat is very good and the scenarios pretty interesting.

I second the crappy graphics and the good gameplay. I suggested it because the gameplay outweighs the graphics.

Shining Force 1 and 2 are two of my favorite all time games and I wish there were more US released SRPG's on the Saturn. But sadly I can't think of any others.

Yeah, the Saturn is amazing for SRPGs, it's just a shame most of them never made it outside of Japan. Anyways, if you don't mind playing through in Japanese you should definetly check out;

Chaos Seed (Odd combination of an action RPG and a dungeon builder)
Langrisser Tribute (Amazing Langrisser boxset of SRPG goodness, combines the first 5 Langrissers into one collection)
Terra Phantastica (Very nice and overlooked SRPG)
Wachenroder (Awesome steam-punk SRPG)

I second dragon force, by far the best the best RPG on the Saturn.

Although if you can afford it, Panzer Dragoon Saga is also excellent.
