Just bought E.G.G.
So i just bought Elemental Gimmick Gear for DC. and im the kind of gamer that always use guides, so im wondering if EGG has alot of missables that i would need a guide for or is it easily played through without a guide?

Re: Just bought E.G.G.
I've been wanting to get this for a long time, always looked like a great game to me.
Sorry, useless comment.

Re: Just bought E.G.G.
The only missable I remember off the top of my head (been a few years) was an item you can get for beating a robot like 100 times near the beginning of the game, but the item makes the rest of the game way easier than it is if you don't use get it and makes the game kind of boring since it's pretty easy to beat most of the enemies without much effort.

It's super boring but that item is worth getting early on because that battle scales in difficulty as you go through the game. It gets really hard in the end. Even if you don't want to use it, you may want to get it. I think there are some other missable items. Maybe even quite a few. Every guide out there is incomplete. There is not one that has everything as of 2.5 years ago. I found some upgrades that were in neither of the guides, and I could tell I did not have everything. For what it's worth, I really enjoyed that game though. I think they didn't use tiles in the 2D portions, so everything is hand drawn and unique. Definitely a gem.
PS: The "Board" for EGG on Gamefaqs has a few things that aren't in the guide (I think).
