NTSC Genesis w/ PAL game Question

I was reading the older Racket article around breaking the region lock on Genesis games by using a Game Genie (I have one of those so :check:) but regarding the TV output issue: Would I have a problem with a PAL EA Hockey game outputting on a Genesis 2 NTSC (and NTSC tv)? I thought PAL issues were moreso with the hardware and NTSC tvs.

While nearly all PAL games fit in the slot, those that boot up will still be forced into NTSC mode. Many don't mind it. Others may have glitches.

Game Genie can't change the hardware to 50hz.
