Wow...that actually looks pretty fun. Looks a helluva lot better than the old Pico game anyways.

Haha, that does actually look fun. Also, I'm a horrible speller, so this game might actually be educational to me. Are there any emulators for Leap Frog?

The gameplay kind of reminds me of an old PC game called "Word Rescue." Which was definitely a fun game that I was playing even when I was in high school...

You wouldn't actually want to play that game. You just spell some words, then play a few minutes from Sonic 2, then spell some more words. It's much better just to pop the cartridge in your Genesis.

It does make me wonder about the power of Didj as an emulation portable. The Didj has a reasonably good directional pad. You can buy one of these things for thirty bucks now. How cool would it be if you could load up a bunch of 8-bit and 16-bit games?

According to Wiki, hackers/homebrewers already know about it...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leapfrog_Didj

Looks like the screen is really nice, but it only has two face buttons. There's L and R shoulder buttons, so I guess there IS four buttons to use.

I guess because of the nature of this product, it's really hard to find any technical info on it. I was trying to find out simple things and it's a no go. I found the PDF manual on the Leapfrog site and apparently it has a USB and cart slot. But the games look like they come on a CD, unless it's just a DVD size case with a really thin cart inside. I wasn't able to find any pictures.

I haven't played this one either. Didn't know it existed 'til last year,
Sonic Arcade:

Like any arcade title, it looks crushingly difficult towards the end.
