Picked up this NES Top Loader lot for $150 today.

Some of the highlights are the Top Loader itself, Contra, Yoshi's Island, Mega Man IV, CIB Mega Man, and a copy of Ogre Battle for the PSX.
is the top loader RF?

It was quite a fun trip too! I tried a filafle (sp?) for the first time. It was fantastic.

That is not a simple mod at all  Still, it seems worth looking into.

The only downside is the stick is missing, so just the flat screw is there. So, I hollowed out a small black eraser and screwed it on. Workin like a champ.

Unfortunately, yes. I've been looking out for the composite Top Loader myself and I was hoping I'd luck out with this one. I've been scanning ebay for one a few weeks now, and still no dice.

Yeah, definitely.

I'm probably going to break down and just have the Top Loader modded, but it would be nice to have a composite Top Loader as a collector's piece. It might just be one of the rarest pieces of Nintendo hardware.

Maybe, but at least $5 isn't completely terrible. I actually talked them down from $70  . I was impatient and bought from the only pawn shop with a game section open on Sunday. Probably some of those at other shops could be $2 or so each, but I'm still happy. I got most of the X-Box games I want.
I would say you paid fair value at 50. Your resale margin would be negligible but for your own collection - nice titles.
Yeah they are for me. I wouldn't buy common X-Box titles for resale unless it was for a lot and I got the items EXTREMELY cheaply.

I didn't have an X-Box or Gamecube, but I just couldn't resist the pretty silver/crystal colours.

Yup, I'm aware of the fact that AV Top Loaders were only available by buying the Top Loader and complaining to Nintendo regarding the poor video quality.
