Wow, you had your eyes on it too?o.pwuaioc wrote:So you were the one who got that deal, huh? Gr...too bad I was out of town for Thanksgiving.
I got lucky this time...I happened to be browsing CL and was fortunate enough to message the seller within like 30 mins.

I'm on a huge NES kick right now, I'm basically trying to get as many games as I can and as cheaply as I can. Believe it or not, none of these for me are duplicates.o.pwuaioc wrote:Such a great find. I would say you paid fair value at 50. Your resale margin would be negligible but for your own collection - nice titles.Breetai wrote:Maybe, but at least $5 isn't completely terrible. Probably some of those at other shops could be $2 or so each, but I'm still happy. I got most of the X-Box games I want.

There was an entire thread about it today...I find it quite amusing that while the other guy was debating it - you had already claimed it. That's pretty funny...oh, and sad for the other guy...I guess.dedalusdedalus wrote:Wow, you had your eyes on it too?o.pwuaioc wrote:So you were the one who got that deal, huh? Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Drove 3 hours today to pick up this beauty.

The games are:
Scramble
Berzerk
Cosmic Chasm
Star Trek: The Movie
Star Castle
Ran me $280, but I was happy to pay it. The system is in great shape.
One question though... Can I use a 6 button genesis controller in port 2?

All I can say is that the concept of the Golden Hour applies to Craigslist deals: unless you message someone about a great deal within an hour of the posting, your chances of bagging the deal aren't good. I happened to be lucky enough to see it within like 30 minutes of the posting.
