Imagine a heelish Punk promo after ending the streak

"I said I would bring change to the WWE and that's exactly what I've done. The streak is over. Undertaker has been put out to pasture just like the so-called Game and just like Big Daddy Shredder. It's a new era, no more old timers hogging the spotlight, no more "outlaws" or Superstars. It's time for pipe bombs, real professional wrestlers and real change. I'm starting a new streak, because I'm the best in the world"

Cue Jericho music, crowds pops real loud

"Best in the world Punk, not last time I checked. Everyone knows that I'm the best in the world at what I do. I've had it with people like you stealing my stuff. You stealing my lines, Miz stealing my gimmick. There's only one Chris Jericho and he's back to show all you ass clowns how it's done! So start paying attention Junior!!!"

Please stop making my world explode at the thought of a Jericho and Punk rivalry happening. That'd be so gold.

I think I'd be down for masked Kane to do that possibly, but yeah. I know, I hate to be that guy, but Kane has never been the same to me ever since he ditched the mask. If anything he should grow his hair out, wear a full body suit like his old one, and wear face paint. Maybe get some eye colored contacts for even greater effect. I can't believe they never thought of that. It's understandable from what he's said that it was uncomfortable wearing that mask and he'd get so sweaty or something, but stop being lazy and put on some menacing face paint for the same effect!

Taker's streak does not have to end but if they do, it would be the greatest rub of all-time. Kane ain't getting it. His WHC run was a nice reward for years of service.

I will say -Punk and Jericho is eventually going to happen. Jericho as a face sucks though. No way Punk turns heel in that feud.

Yeah, if anything Jericho being the awesome heel that he can be would just put Punk over even more, which would be great.

Please come back Jericho, pretty please? HBK is gone, which makes me miss Jericho even more. He was the only other guy who was that good

I would love to see Jericho back in any capacity. But I soooo would rather see the return of Y2J than his stiff, boring heel character.

Me too, but again we have the problem of Attitude Era versus PG Era. His heel character is more friendly towards WWE's current climate than his old, face persona. I loved Jericho's tirades against Steph when he was a face. "Bottom feeding, trash bag, ho!!!"

Yeah, that's not gonna fly in this new, kid friendly era of the WWE. Him and Steph had great chemistry. I wonder sometimes if that's why Triple H supposedly kept trying to hold Jericho down. Him and Steph were always fun to watch together

The Stephanie vs. Jericho thing did get ugly. That was an exception. But for the most part, Jericho was pretty clean compared to The Rock, Stone Cold, or The Godfather. He was very opinionated, flamboyant, and outspoken; but really wasn't the type to do edgy things just for the shock-factor like other wrestlers of the era.

Except for peeing in William Regal's coffee

I get what you're saying though, and I think you're probably right. Besides, Jericho is adaptable. More so than ninety percent of the roster. I'm sure he could come back as a babyface, keep his act clean, and still be entertaining
