Looks like it will support TATE, and will also have a remix mode that sounds like it will be vertizontal

The Dreamcast masterpiece, Under Defeat, will be revived, says the game’s official site. G.rev is bringing their vertical shooter to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in February 2012.

Under Defeat has a World War II theme, but it’s actually set in alternate universe where you play as a helicopter pilot. G.rev hasn’t said too much about what’s new in Under Defeat HD aside from tate and widescreen modes. Under Defeat HD will be released as a retail game in Japan for 5,600 yen ($72).

I really hope Border Down comes to PS3. That would just be too glorious for words. Has there been any word on this getting localized? Not that it really matters, would be nice to save some cash though.

Well, GREV didn't do too well with Wartech from what I recall, and haven't had any physical localizations since. So, it seems unlikely.

If only Aksys would decide to port more shmups. Of all the crazy ones available on the 360, its sad that we've seen so few brought over.

If no localization, it DAMN well better be region free, or I'm gonna get pissed.

(Here's to hoping for mod chips at the end of the 360's life span!!!)

that might be true, but:

number of 360 imports I own: 3 (soon to be 4)
number of PS3 imports I own: 0
