I don't know about you guys but I haven't been able to find this at a Gamestop yet. They said the 22nd may have been the distribution date. When I went to a different one tonight (not my sole purpose of being there) they searched on the computer and told me the closest was Arkansas. Yeah.

Ordered from amazon.

I'm really enjoying the game. Fishing Resort is really laid back. There's no rushing to do anything at all. A very Animal Crossing-esque, do-what-you-want approach. I'm still limited to the first area right now but even so, there's a variety of locations to fish at. My favorite location to fish thus far is off the edge of a cliff.

The bundled controller: It works and works well! What else can I say? It's comfortable to hold and fun to use. My only complaint is that the nunchuk gets a little jammed sometimes. But that's more of my fault than the controller's. I get a little overexcited sometimes when I see that fish hook onto the bait.

The game is gorgeous. The fish are highly detailed and the water effects are quite nice. The character animation is okay. Nothing too spectacular but what do you expect out of a fishing game?

I've caught quite a few fish so far and have put them in my aquarium, which by the way you charge people to come in and see (extra income!). The more fish- the more people come to view- the more cash.

You use money in the game to buy new rods, reels, bait, and ... clothing! There's some clothing to customize your character with but it's kinda expensive... You're better off purchasing better fishing supplies instead of a new shirt; at least in the beginning, anyway.

...I guess that's all I have to say so far. I think I'm kinda rambling here... I'll post more later after I've spent a greater amount of time with the game.

Here's something to consider:

Fishing for long periods of time is not something I recommend. You will make you arms tired casting and reeling in. Play in moderation.
