Another game I got rid of recently - but unlike Soul Calibur and BB, I will not be reacquiring this one. Was this game not miserable / clunky?

Forsooth! It was such a disappointment for me as a fan of both DC comics and fighting games in general.

I also had it/sold it. But I didn't quite HATE it. Really I just found it a huge letdown after playing MK9. And I think it would have been a far better game had it stuck to a 2D plane rather than making it 3D.

Aksys Games is hosting BlazBlue Revolution, the world's largest BlazBlue tournament, early next year in Japan, and it wants the best three-person team from the United States to be there, enough to offer them full airfare to Japan, complimentary hotel stay and a special monetary prize exclusive to the U.S. team if it wins. The U.S. tournament will be Feb. 25 in southern California, with the finals in Japan on March 24.

The BlazBlue Revolution prize is still "to be announced," but if the U.S. wins it will definitely get that special bonus prize -- emphasis on if. With all this hype to get a U.S. team to a Japanese tournament for a Japanese game, we think this may be a clever ploy to show us yanks just how terrible we truly are at motherland fighting games. We can add it to a poll - but I was more / less checking to see if I was the only one massively disappointed with it. The sick part was - as I recall now, I found the intro fantastic, was super excited, then got to gameplay and I was like...really?

I usually get some GS gift cards for xmas, so I'm assuming I'll use them this year to stock up on budget fighting games that the rest of you might have.

it's just like SF2. You can just do down, forward + HP for most characters.
