Developer credits
Im just curious, why dont they give developement teams credit anymore, on older games they did (Electronic Arts) and its actually helped me to find good games. I mean, what would we do without Mike Posehn, Paul Vernon, John Manley and the Strike games for Genesis?
Older. Not wiser.

Exactly, you just said it your self. It's the publishers job to sell, promote, and advertise the game. The developer, makes the game and has little to nothing to do with advertising it.gradualmeltdown wrote:Because the Publisher is trying to promote the game and itself, not the developer. As long as the box art at least has the developers logo right next to the publishers its all good.
I think what you are trying to say is that they can put the developer on the box or used in their advertising to promote the game.
For example for the Final Fantasy series they will put Square Soft/Enix on the box to promote the game.
