I just wish that the "pro" mode extended to more than just the interface. Nintendo should hide a "difficulty" toggle in the options that simply does nothing but turn off all of the extreme hints. What is the point of having quests or puzzles if you literally show the player the solutions? And what the hell with taking the "invisible wall" to the next level and having Fi block me from entering areas that have no visible blockade of any sort? I get no sense of exploration with the visible walls, the invisible walls, Fi controlling my path, the auto maps, and the beacons. It makes the game feel like it is on rails.

I found out that there are only 18 hearts maximum in this game without any medals or whatever, meaning that when I'd finished the game, I'd only missed 2 of the games 24 heart pieces. I knew I was doing well for them :lol:

I've found all the games Goddess cubes, so now I just have to do one more thing to get everything possible on this run.
And that's beat Boss Rush mode.

Haven't tried this myself as I haven't played the game, but I seem to remember my girlfriend saying something about speeding through text with A+B. Dunno if that's true.

I've played about 2 hours of this. It seems like a fun Zelda. It starts off a lot better than Twilight Princess.

Uggh. I hope I can pick up the special edition later for a decent price. Until I get a slimmer TV, I've pretty much can't get a Wii. Hopefully I can get my room moved around in time for Wii U.

I am currently playing this and I just had to come rant some more. I am enjoying exploring the game, but seriously, is the target audience retarded?

My first entry into a dungeon had Fi telling me something that brought joy to my heart. She claimed I could receive no aid once inside. I was hoping this meant she would leave me the fuck alone. NOPE!

I find my first dungeon map. It immediately takes me to the map screen and fills in the blanks. Ok, great. I exit back to the game and the map button is not only blinking, but making a very loud beeping sound. It wouldn't stop. Ever. Until I pressed the map button to view the map screen. The same map screen that was shown to me when I received the map.

The dungeon maps now show you the locations of the switches and locks. At this point, I'm surprised the game doesn't just do the "zoom the screen directly on every important item thing" as soon as you enter each chamber.

The Fi icon was blinking for a few minutes, but I ignored it. Eventually it was annoying me so much that I decided to press it and see what was so goddamn important. What was her urgent message? "Your hearts are low, refill them". Thanks, Sherlock.

Another thing that is annoying, and possibly a programming oversight. The first time you find an collectable item (bug, horn, whatever), the game describes it to you and slowly shows it to you on your collection screen. If you find the same item again, it skips this process. However, if you quit and reload your game, the game "forgets" you already found the item (despite it being in your inventory) and will go through the process for each item the next time you encounter it.

I honestly feel sorry for young/new gamers just getting into these games with all this hand holding. It's very insulting and does nothing for me but artificially increase the play time.

One last thing, it's hard to alternately play this and Mario Galaxy. In Mario Galaxy, you centre the camera with C. In Zelda, you do it with Z. I now end up crouching all the time as Mario.
