Hey guys. I am currently seeking content for a site I have put together that focuses entirely on Japanese Role Playing Games. I am looking for submissions. Anything goes; as long as it's JRPG centric. It can be unboxings, reviews, essays, photo galleries, whatever.
The site is called Encounter Rate and can be found at http://www.encounterrate.com. There is nothing there but a call for submissions at the moment, but I am hoping to launch the site the first week of December and it would be great to have more than just my crazy musings populating the articles.
Rest assured you will receive full credit and links back to your respective site/blog.
Send submissions to me at [email protected] and spread the word. Thanks!
-Nathan

Re: Write about RPGs for a website!
I started my own site because I am not a huge fan of MMORPGs and the Mass Effects and the Elder Scrolls. I like my RPGs Japanese. Random battles, high encounter rates, melodrama and spiky haircuts... what can I say? It's a dying art.
I like playing them, collecting them, and writing about them, and to my knowledge there are really no other english sites that deal exclusively in covering the entire pantheon of JPRGs in any meaningful or passionate way.

I like this idea.
Sounds like we have similar taste in games. JRPGs are my favorite genre, especially 16-bit ones. I've been a music reviewer for some time, and now I'm trying to get into game reviews as well. I've been torn about the medium though: I'm not sure if I'm better suited for written or video reviewing. I'll have to see what works best. Anyway, don't be surprised if I contact you after the site goes up!

I would love to, but I really don't think I have the time, unfortunately.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

No promises, but I actually have a tonne of notes from a couple of months back when I went on a .doc rampage praising and complaining JRPGs. I'll see if I can't condense anything usable out of them.
