FF1 should only be played on NES

Or FFIII NES, introduced that. :wink:

Along with the better menu system that the rest of the 2D ones adopted.

Oh, one more question about the PSP version of FF1. Is it just a MISS one after another like the prior versions? That got annoying. It wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the high encounter rate.

The whole miss thing is gone in all of the remakes of FF1, as it was only there due to programmer inexperience to begin with.

Incidentally, playing through the PSP version of FF1 right now, and I'm so bored I can't finish it. FF1 is in my top 5 rpg's of all time, and I can't finish it. The difficulty is so butchered it just saps any fun or feeling of accomplishment out of it.
