That just plain sucks. Well, I guess I'll be getting my new games from Walmart and Amazon instead, if it's gonna be a pain to fish out new copies anymore.

^ New copies are always behind the register, why would you have to fish anything?

Only if you count discs in sleeves, a lot of the new releases GS only gets one copy. And some people like to browse to see whats available, which is hard just by looking behind the counter. Your advice works only if you come in knowing what your going to get and thats it.retrosportsgamer wrote:^ New copies are always behind the register, why would you have to fish anything?

I'm not a frequent customer to EB, but when I do stop in to get something, I immediately head to the counter and just ask for what I seek.

Browsing is half the fun of any video game store visit for me.Zing wrote:I'm not a frequent customer to EB, but when I do stop in to get something, I immediately head to the counter and just ask for what I seek.

As much as I dislike GameStop most of the time, they have some great Black Friday deals. I just made a nice online order so I don't have to go to an actual store tomorrow.

Got Mirror's Edge today from Gamestop.
Sure the employee could've actually...stopped his conversation and looked at me, but whatever. The game is flawless (not a single scratch or hair on the disc, manual or box) and he didn't ask any unnecessary bullshit.
