virtua tennis

Post by soniklife »

i picked this up at the thrift store this weekend and man this game is a lot of fun. especially when playing with a few friends. and honestly i probably wouldn't have given it much thought if it wasn't for it being one of the racketboy recommended games for the dreamcast. so thanks!!

I actually like it more than Tennis 2K2 for some reason. Awesome game.

Ya, it's a great game. If you have a Dreamcast fishing pole, play the game with it. When you swing the fishing pole, your character swings the racket. It's like wii tennis on the DC :D

You can also play the game entirely on the VMU screen without having to look up at the TV.

psst and if you don't have a fishing rod i've got an extra one i wouldn't mind selling.

One of only a couple of Sega franchises to not be completely disappointing in recent years...Virtua Tennis 3 is awesome too! (Virtua Fighter being the other franchise that is still strong)

It is like Pong, so simple and easy to pick up and very addictive, especially with four players. It beats Nintendo Wii Tennis game any day of the week.
