Your fave/memorable videogame freebie/preorder gift

Post by flojocabron »

Now a days most preorder bonuses are downloaded directly to your account as a free skin, level or power-up. Or that occasional audio CD.

But in the many years of preorder bonuses and gifts which ones do you still have? Do you keep them or resell them later?

Back in the day when Gamestops were much better, You could get lots of physical freebies! I still have some of them somewhere in my stuff. Promotional DVD's, key chains, toys, playing cards and so on. It paid to be cool with the guy who worked there. Sometimes you would get left over preorder bonuses that nobody took when the game came in.

Even the free stuff that came in the package, Toys, soundtracks and plushies.

So go ahead and show your love for your free stuff.

I love the plush Slime that came with Dragon Quest VI for DS.
I really like the watch that came with 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, but it's too heavy to wear every day and wasn't very good at keeping time.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin also came with some cool goodies, including a soundtrack CD spanning the entire series. Although I admit I didn't pre-order it and bought it later on eBay.
