Good deals at the thrift store today:

Purple GBA with battery cover, Pokemon Red and Blue, 2 link cables, a GBASP charger - 17.99
"CIB" Mario 2 NES (cart is SMB/DH but I have a loose one to pop in there) - 3.99

And the best find of the day...

PS1 Dual Analog - $2.99 :)

Problem is that the tops of the sticks are loose and spin around freely. I think I can pop open the controller, put a dab of glue in somewhere inconspicuous and I'll have a nice condition controller. Anybody else had a similar problem / have successfully fixed it?

With my day off I decided to make a trip 40 mins north to a medium sized town very close to a lot of rural towns. Seems to always yield some great finds we don't get a bit further to the south.

Got the following from some used game stores and thrift stores:

Street Fighter EX3 (complete) - $5
Go!Go! Hypergrind (complete) - $5
Formula One Built to Win - $4
Gyruss - $4
Thunder & Lightning - $4
Cowboy Kid - $4
Donkey Kong Jr. Math - $3
Super Mario World / All-Stars Combo cart - $15

Near Mint Sega Genesis 3 button controller - $3.50 (in plastic doesn't look used)
SG Propad-6 -$3.50 (complete in box with plastic wrap on it and original receipt from purchase)
Turbo Touch 360 Sega Version - $3.50 (complete in box and original receipt from purchase)

You are going to have to sit on those contras for quite a while to see the value jump

Considering I just picked up 6 copies for less then I paid for my other copy bought new years ago... yeah not worried. I probably will sit on a few, but if anyone is after a copy, PM me and we can work something out.

 DO NOT GLUE!!

Great Find! The DUAL ANALOG with concave plastic sticks? The sticks are supposed to spin freely, I have two and both do that. Just test them and see if the Analog sticks work, be sure to set the Analog button in the correct mode.

See my RARE DUAL ANALOG signature link for some unique features.

CRT: I haven't glued them, I knew I'd get your attention by asking the question here and I definitely wanted your input before doing anything. It just seems so odd to me that the tops of the sticks would rotate in place like that, it's really hard to get a grip on them and they keep sliding out of my hand. Perhaps I'm just holding them wrong, but I'll keep them as is. Thanks for the info! :)

I would never alter anything that couldn't be replaced without research and confirmation. I suppose I could have been a bit more clear in my first post.
