Sorry to highjack your highjack, but damn. I HATE Super Mario Sunshine.
Also, there are two Zelda discs that have old games. Each has some content exclusive to that disc (on the Gamecube).

Definitely get the two that are exclusive to the Gamecube. Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil (upgrade remake from the PS1)retrosportsgamer wrote:^ I'm going to hijack my own thread but which Resident Evil games on the Cube are ones needed for a collection?
I think I just need a Super Mario Sunshine (I haven't been able to find Twilight Princess for the GC in a while) for my own collection besides potentially some RE ports. I've got the four wrestling titles, the Mario sports games, and the 1st party titles (including the Zelda disc that has the old games).
You might want to look into Gamecube Pikimin too. I wrote a review with info on some interesting developer stuff hidden in the Gamecube disc at my Wii and Gamecube Thread. Unlockable if you have a Gamecube Action Replay.

All I'm missing is code: veronica. If it wasn't so pricey I'd have it already.Opa Opa wrote:RE Zero, RE remake, RE 2, RE 3, RE Code Veronica, RE 4.retrosportsgamer wrote:^ I'm going to hijack my own thread but which Resident Evil games on the Cube are ones needed for a collection?

If you like Resident Evil games, than the RE Remake is a must. Can't speak for everyone's tastes, but I think the general consensus is that it's a must have. Really, just the updated visuals should be enough to pick it up. RE Zero is pretty good, but not a good as Remake. It does add a bit to the general RE story-line though. Still, it's a decent game. And depending on your tastes, RE 4 is also a must if you're not fond of the Wii controls. Personally, I like the Wii controls because it sort of makes it more like a light-gun game, but that's just me.retrosportsgamer wrote:^ I'm going to hijack my own thread but which Resident Evil games on the Cube are ones needed for a collection?

While we're on the topic of Resident Evil, I think that the REmake and RE Zero are both on the Wii as well. I don't know how they control but they looked pretty solid. I thought I read somewhere that the FMV sequences don't have the slowdowns and hiccups like they do on the GameCube versions.

I was at a different GS tonight and their selection was paltry - however - they did have a Gamecube Twilight Princess ($26 - I passed, have it on the Wii - but maybe I'm missing out on not getting it for the GC?) and I did grab the Resident Evil remake for $12. Was in decent shape and both discs look good.

You're only missing out if you dislike the waggle controls on Wii.retrosportsgamer wrote:Gamecube Twilight Princess ($26 - I passed, have it on the Wii - but maybe I'm missing out on not getting it for the GC?)

All three of the local gamestop stores still carry Gamecube games.
Most have atleast one shelf of games.
