^yeah both of my fightpads that I use have THAT style dpad. That's what I find most comfortable for fighting games.

Sure the + is raised, but the actual dpad is a big circle, which is great for rolling from one direction to another.

The poll makes me sad, because the two games that are winning are the two games I don't have (nor plan to get).

if you had voted earlier, I would've voted for BB too. But KOFXII was in the lead, I don't own that one.

I voted for Blazblue because I don't own KOFXII, while the rest of you don't have XIII yet.

Also, I dont believe in buying cheap stick if you want something reliable. The TE sticks are great, and I would consider them the introductory level, mine has never had issues and built really sturdy. Madcatz runs sales through the online gameshark store pretty much every week if you waych any of the fighting game streams on the weekends.

That Hori pad has the ablility to raise or depress the directional pad Noise. I'd imagine you can recreate the depth of the Saturn pad.

but it's still a + shape. I feel like it would kill my thumb -- my thumbs are double jointed. In the past using a + dpad instead of circle-style for fighting games has literally caused me to be bruised the next day.
