No one can answer that for you, it's a matter of taste. I feel that $30 is a fair price. Just my opinion. We all went in to this knowing it wouldn't be dodonpachi. If you're intrigued by the quirkiness of it all, and you're into the gradius style of shmup, pick it up. But like I said before, there are a handful of US titles that you should look into first.

Hell, if it didn't come stateside, you know that many of us would have paid $80 to import it. I'm not saying that would be wise, just letting you know

Same here, I've got all the US smhups and i've got Mushihimesama-Futari and ESPGaluda II. I just wanted to keep my shmup collection going. Maybe i should have waited for the price to drop

There's plenty of good shmups to add to your collection, don't add them just because they are shmups!

Do you have Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets yet? Thats a game worth adding to the collection. Eschatos is another region-free game that looks pretty dang sweet.

Dodonpachi Ressurection just came out in the PAL region, but will work on US consoles.

Then again, if the game does look appealing to you, then its probably worth the low asking price.
