Wow, the opening music of your video is the Yamanote line melody for Gotanda/Yurakuchou stations (uchimawari). That was rather cute and unexpected.
Re: Magical Drop 2 for Neo Geo CD
Hello,
Thank you for the video. I've played A LOT of Magical Drop III on Wii Virtual Console, so it was fun to see MD II featured in your video. I always play as Star, with the big jugs. Good to see her towards the end of your vid. I liked that you gave some space between comments for the music and gameplay to sit. I like your narrative style and intonation, apart from a little drowsy read speed. I'd like to see more depth on the gameplay (tell the viewer just what ARE those ice-cube-looking blocks, tell the viewer about the chain you are setting up). I'd like to get more of a feel that you are narrating while watching the video playback, and that you comment on specifically what I"m seeing in the video at that moment. Overall, a good video. Have you thought about assigning scores at the end?

Magical Drop series is so low key and one underappreciated puzzler. It's so much fun! I was so happy when they announced it as part of the Data East Arc. Classics for Wii. Just got that sucker brand new for $7. All I play is Magical Drop 3

Thanks for all the feedback guys!
hashiriya1 -> They use the same melody for one of the platforms at Mitaka station, which is near where I used to live. I was lucky to find a MIDI file online.
k.vlaros -> I'm always experimenting with the delivery of my voice. I agree it's still not satisfactory. I'll try and punch it up.
As for commenting specifically with what's on the video, I agree that would be more ideal, although I find that a lot more time-consuming to do. But I'll try and see if I can incorporate more of that in the next video. As well as more detail about the gameplay (that also can be a tough call to make. How much detail to go into without sounding like a technical manual).
CD AGES -> The 90's were a great puzzle era, and it seems like for every game I enjoyed back then (like Tetris Attack, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Dr. Mario, etc.) there was a game that I missed (like Magical Drop, Baku Baku Animal, Cleopatra Fortune) etc. It's great to dig through the bargain bins and try to find all the ones that I missed!

Yes! A Very Excellent VS. Puzzle series.
My girlfriend and I rock the Saturn port. It gets pretty intense haha
I'm always Justice.
Oh, and it's a much more enjoyable experience with an arcade stick, IMO
