Or just use their website... if your in the US ebay has it built into their postage calculator like I said.scott21 wrote:as far as shipping. dont be gay and charge 2x the shipping cost. posting a $2 saturn game and paying 6-7 bucks for shipping is a real turn off. If you dont know the shipping, take the time to weight it and ask your post office what it will be to ship. i've ran to the post office a few times with items just to get a quote. takes about 2 seconds to do.

I'm not world wide... it is good to know that though. I was figuring as much, but I didn't want to assume anything as I do not have proof.Clockwork wrote:not only in the US... the calculator goes worldwidelordofduct wrote: if your in the US ebay has it built into their postage calculator like I said.
Gage how much item(s) like yours have been selling for (ignore the REALLY high prices
For the less common stuff or stuff that not a lot of people are interested in, you could consider setting a reserve but you'll have more fees to pay
There is no spoon.
personally i hate reserve prices, makes it a guessing game for bidders. there was an auction today for a game on ebay with a reserve price and i bid 2-3 times and all 3 were below reserve so i said screw it.. because it was a) more then i wanted to pay and b) had no idea what the reserve was
instead i'd just make a fair starting price and let it go from there
