regarding bof II is there any possible way you could slightly enlighten me on which decision I have to chose in regards to the "better" ending without giving away any significant storyline spoiler? lol And I absolutely love the BOF series. I plan on purchasing 4 do to the fact I can't seem to find it in the wild and I hear its in many people's mind the best bof game made...the price for a CIB copy is just collectors abuse

In regard to getting the best BoF II ending: I'll try to tell you the best I can without spoiling anything... I'm doing this mostly from memory, so I hope I have all the details correct, someone can correct me if I'm a bit off.

1. At one point you will fight a man surrounded by eyeball creatures. Do not kill the old man! Defeat only the eyeball creatures (so don't use any spells that target all enemies).
2. In the town of Guntz, there will be a bookcase you can walk behind. Find the old woman behind in the secret passage, return to your township and enter the well and talk to the people inside of it. Something amazing with happen to your town!
3. When offered the choice, choose not to wait for the demons to emerge, go battle them on their own turf.

Well, started Space Siege Sunday night, just finished both endings. Was fun, if ok. Glad I only paid $4 since I finished it that quick though.

FFIX just came in the mail, my first big RPG that I was emulating and stopped during snickerd00dle's challenge, so now I'm juggling Bard's Tale (quite amusing and fun, but surprisingly more difficult than I thought it would be) for the Xbox, FFIX for the PS1, and Shining Force for Together Retro.

(although I won't say I "hate" FFX, but have many problems with it. And despite most I think I'm one of the only members around here that didn't hate FFXII. Never beat it, but it was good stuff, even if it probably should've been called Vagrant Story 2 instead).

I enjoyed XII. I liked the story and the gameplay took some getting used to, but I didnt mind it

I loved XII. I haven't beat it yet either. One day I'll have to start from the beginning and beat that game. But I really did enjoy playing it.

Guess I'm not totally alone. Plus XIII (gameplay wise) was a complete and utter step down in every single regard. From TONS of ally AI control/perimeters, to having absolutely no control or options at all. Good job SE.
