Stew over that one for a while, guys. :twisted:

'ees'. Next. :lol:
No, it's pronounced like "ease."

Just so long as you guys don't pronounce it "Wise" I'll be fine. :lol:

Maybe we could just have fewer nonsensical names for games? :P

I'm looking at you Square-Enix.

Ys wasn't made up - it's a mythological city, and of French pronunciation. The 'y' is therefore a vowel, much like it is in "happy". I can't really see how it could be pronounced in any other way...

Smile: Played the hell out of my new C64 today

Frown: I'm not sure it'll survive the purging of my collection. If it doesn't it will be one of the last things I decide to let go though

Smile: Flight school is going excellent! Turns out I'm pretty damn good at it.

Frown: Purging my game collection is hard but I think it'll be good for me in the end. I felt pretty liberated after I listed a bunch of stuff on eBay today, and I'm sure I'll feel this even more so when they aren't taking up space on my shelf.

You purging for money or just to free up space?

I think you'll be happy with your decision once you see the auctions start getting bids. Purging is a tough thing to do but I've never regretted it.

Best way to pronounce Ys, take the word piece and drop the p. Sounds a bit different from "ease".

I've heard that some people pronounced it "wise" back in the day, but I was even worse. I called it Y.S. like an acronym. :lol:

@RyaNtheSlayA: Didn't you JUST get the C64?

Ys = "east" but with no T at the end.
