Guys...

My friend randomly let me borrow this, since he said he'll be busy with Skyward Sword for awhile.

I wasn't going to argue.

So uh yeah, I'll officially be joining in on the fun! 8)

Actually I already kind of have. I played a good two hours at least or so with a bunch of friends and I was absolutely loving it. And let me preach it again for the skeptical folks out there, I hated Oblivion, LOATHED IT! And really couldn't get into Fallout 3. But this, wow. I played enough to know I'm going to love this and get completely sucked in here. Amazing.

@Ack: Well no harm in not using companions. I don't know if I'll get the vibe here, but in my opinion throughout New Vegas I really felt it eliminated an awesome lonely, deserted, etc kind of vibe that I really liked from the game. So later on in the game I literally just ditched companions, or never brought them with me into the Vaults because it just ruined this awesome element of being alone in this huge world and the atmosphere to me. Although I liked having the dog around, since that felt cool enough (all this and well the companions were overpowered anyways and ruined the fun combat wise).

I you do the mission where you run into Sheogorath, this is more or less confirmed- he starts bringing up events from Oblivion and the Shivering Isles. Physically he's the Champion, and has access to the Champion's memories and ability, but the personality of Sheogorath more or less destroyed that of the Champion it seems.

Do you guys read all the books that are in the game? I've always tried to get into the lore in the elder scrolls games, but it takes so much time to read every single thing. I'm already over 20 hours into Skyrim and I think i've spent maybe 30 minutes of just reading.

I try to- before I bought my house I was carrying 189 pounds of books. I've lost track of exactly what books I have and haven't read though, and kind of given up. I have found The Lusty Argonian Maid though, and its sequel (!).

So guys... Does this game lean more towards Oblivion or Morrowind in terms of gameplay?

It's more like a Skyrimjob. And who doesn't love that?

So it's like Oblivion in which they discarded the die roll... Interesting...
