I've been following the thread quite a bit. Noise and Ryan, I think you're making the right choice with focusing your gaming onto a BC PS3. I ran into a similar problem a number of months ago when it came to the fate of my SNES. I realized that almost all of my retrogaming was done on Virtual Console or PSone classics on my PSP. I've found I enjoy gaming a lot more when most of my library is concentrated on a few systems with huge backwards compatability possibilities. I've been selling off my SNES collection and repurchasing some of the games on VC and, lo and behold, gaming is the light, casual entertainment I love rather than the obligation it was since I had sunk so much money into buying my collection. Gaming is once again about the games and not about the pieces of plastic on the shelf.

 I'd rather think too much than spend too much.

I'm not really of the mindset that thinking is a negative thing.

Yes, thinking is a good thing. If we had more mindful people in this world, it would be a better place.

I said too much thinking. Not thinking...

What I mean is, do what you think is best. Just don't think too much about it. Me, I can enjoy just having an extensive collection and occasionally picking something out of it to play. Having an extensive collection doesn't make me feel like I have to play all of them. They are there, that's about it. If I feel like I can do something better with the money, maybe one day I'll sell them. As of yet, I haven't felt the urge...

I have been really thinking of purging the rest of my comic collection completely. If ya read my earlier post you know I already purged all the video games I never played and found myself with more space and just the great games I want to play, even got a stack of cash.

I was trying to go for a complete Amazing Spiderman collection, I have about 60% or more of the books and get the new ones every month. I just can't decide, I have been thinking about it for a while. I have a great selection with a fare amount of oldies and key issues but space has become a real problem with my comics, and if I still need about 35% to 40% I just don't know if I want to continue. I would still need to get some very expensive books. I also haven't had the time to keep up with the stories, and just haven't got the enjoyment I though I would, but I don't know if I will regret this one. A couple of months ago I purged my X-men, and all DC and some other random Marvel comics and it felt great. I really have to think about the ASM collection.

I really been in to my game collecting more than the comics, and its very hard for me to do both with having a baby now. I really hope my head won't explode.

Sure you joined late and skipped some good discussion, but I love this thought. I'm in the same boat in regards to switching between the 2 often as well. It's like 2 hobbies in 1!
