Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Re: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
I played the new multiplayer maps last night. They're great! Hang 'em High is always sweet. Though I'm kind of disappointed with no Sidewinder. Anyways....Halo Reach is teh best since Halo1 and now I miss my X360. oh well...

Haha, Skyrim probably is my favorite game ever except I'm still not 100% sure if I'm enjoying it as much as I enjoyed Morrowind... Anyway, Halo: CE has always been my favorite FPS, this just replaced it cuz it has good graphics.s1mplehumar wrote:This must be your season for gaming. First Skyrim as "best game ever" and now this one for FPS campaign.darthmunky wrote:Picked the game up yesterday, played up to level 8. WOW! This game is amazing, easily my favorite fps campaign of all time. The graphcis are jaw dropping, escpecially when switching back and forth between old and new graphics. It's much better than Halo 3 graphics but not quite up to par with Reach.
I am completely satisfied with my 40$ purchase.
I'm going to check out Unreal but I've never really enjoyed playing games on PC.
What do you mean? I never noticed anything wrong before. But on Anniversary, during splitscreen, the bottoms of each screen are cut off a little bit, like we don't see our hands, mostly just the to of the gun.fastbilly1 wrote:Does coop scale properly? In the xbox version it had some problems.

Sorry I should have specified, the difficulty. I noticed in my lots of playing of Halo that their were stages were the difficulty would spike oddly on coop but not on singleplayer. The best one I can think of offhand is the part on Assault on the Control Room where you come up out of the tunnel where there are rocks scattered and there is a big central mountain that has a small base in it and a mortar tank on the far side. When playing it in coop on Legendary it is one of the hardest parts of the game, because of the amount of enemies that spawn seemingly randomly. I was playing through it last year with a friend who I have played through it with several times and we ended up getting four invisible elites there. Which has never happened before, usually it is just two.darthmunky wrote:What do you mean? I never noticed anything wrong before. I assume it's the same in this game too then since literally nothing is changed except graphics and music.fastbilly1 wrote:Sorry I should have specified, the difficulty. For the people with 3D hardware... how's the stereoscopic 3D mode?
