I'll admit, if you didn't have a Saturn, like I didn't at one point, then MLF is decent fun. (XS obviously stepped up their game with Shiki 2)

However, in Apple's case, if you have access to a Saturn, there is no reason to touch the psx port. Not only is it missing TATE, its totally inaccurate.

If you played the Saturn port, you'd be like "wtf, this game is FAAST"

That, plus the fact that its like $10 more for a true port, means I'd never suggest Gunbird on the psx to someone who would have the option to play both.

heres one that I've been trying to find. I'm trying to find it in stores but I may have to try online

http://www.google.com/products/catalog? ... GAQ8wIwAA#

It's called ultimate shooting collection and its for the wii.

I'm pretty sure the games in this compillation are shooters that came out for the Dreamcast.

I have this. It was released as a budget title even. Yes, all 3 games were on DC.

No wai, Saturn or gtfo!

Oh, that Shooting collection is pretty neat. Radirgy, Radirgy Noa, Karous, Chaos Field, and another shmup I think.

If the wii is an option, then Shiki III shouldn't be too much either. Not to mention the online stuff, like the Turbo virtual console.

Didn't know the wii was a choice

A little off topic, but I'm under the impression that the 360 has some really good shmups for cheap also. Just sayin'...

I don't own a 360.

(I did somewhat recently get a Wii though, so I may keep an eye out for that collection disc thing)

If I remember, there is a superior part 2 to that collection.

The 360 is pretty savage for cheap, good shmups. Platinum hits ftw
