I had $1 in store credit left after picking out Amazing Spider-Man #252 (1st black costume) with my contest winning store credit, and I saw this guy and was just too curious.

Apparently it's a comic about The Ultimate Warrior written by The Ultimate Warrior himself. I can't imagine the amount of insanity that will be unleashed when I open this comic book.
I bought 6 rolls of toilet paper for $1 today, and will find them much more useful than Warrior #1 ever was. Though unique among wrestling and comics being by and about the real and fictional "Warrior", it is laughably bad, but has it's dubious place in comics history. I'm wary of nostalgia for 90's era "lines everywhere" comics, but i've got a ton of those books that have "Blood" or "Blade" in the title, some were pretty good.

That is so awesome. Now if I can just find the time to watch all that

Lately it's getting hard to find time for stuff. What with all the good shows on tv, DC's new 52 relaunch, so many hours of wrestling a week(though cutting TNA out of my viewing schedule has helped with that) and of course gaming

I have too many damn hobbies

Those links are awesome though. I think we can all appreciate the time and effort you put into that. Just looking at some of those link descriptions takes me way back. Man, I forgot about some of those people. Man, wrestling used to be so good. What happened? At least Smackdown is still decent. I'm still digging the continued Mark Henry push.

The first ever Smackdown! Awesome! When I tell people Cena will never be as important as guys like the Rock, I point out that Rock had a frigging show named after him! and it's been around a long time and is currently doing better than Raw in terms of ratings growth

BurningDoom that is an incredible post. I'm currently designing a website dedicated to the late 90s early 00s which is me and a few friends doing PPV reviews and videogame reviews. Once it is up I will ask people on here for help with content, but yeah, wrestling was SO good then.

Anyone watch Raw Monday night? Love that The Rock Rock Bottomed Foley, took me by surprise and as soon as he grabbed Mick, I got goosebumps lol. It was like 2001 all again. Loved the banter between Cena and Rock, Cena just talks normally and The Rock in third person still cracks me up. The Rock says...Cena's lady parts will trend on Twitter...now.

I don't care what anyone says, nobody can control the audience on the mic like The Great One. Survivor Series should be a treat.

The Rock is one of the best of all time. The fact that a bunch of people hate on him from wrestlers to certain wrestling fans is just proof to me that jealously follows success. Few people will ever reach the heights that he has both in and out of the sport. The thing that always gets to me is that all the people who hate on the guy seem to have no respect whatsoever for everything he's given the business or the fact that he is probably the best spokesperson they have for wrestling. No one in the business serves as a better role model really. You look at the Rock and none of the negative wrestler stereotypes really apply to him. He's not a druggie, he's never been in the news for trashing a hotel room, he hasn't died a premature death, he's not making homophobic comments for the press, he's not a washed up has been who is selling himself out for any dumb commercial or crappy show he can get, he's not a guy who murders his wife and kids and he's not in the news for DUIs all the time like some people. Now look at all those things in that last sentence, and you're realize that at least one of them applies to some of the wrestlers who like to bad mouth him

I might have to get caught up on this week's Raw. I forgot about the earlier starting time and tuned in around nine. When I did I saw Foley going on and on about how great Cena is and I immediately changed the channel. When I switched back over later I saw a pointless segment reminding us that the Bellas are skanks and that Del Rio is boring. Then I think I saw a boring divas match where the no talent barbie doll Kelly Kelly a.k.a. Torrie Wilson 2 won and I gave up on Raw on that point and decided to play some Batman Arkham City. I may have missed some good stuff though, but what I saw turned me off

He may be a douche, but he's a douche with a fucking hot girlfriend that's for sure. Lucky bastard. It a shame that a guy like that who is something of a celebrity, has fans, was once well respected in the wrestling community, and has a gorgeous babe like Reba Sky has to go and ruin his reputation and make an ass of himself for the world on a regular basis. Some people don't deserve all of the good things they get in life

Well said about the Rock dude. Like you said he gives the wrestling business some good face in and outside of the ring. I'm sure he only has good things to say about it when he's been spending his time in hollywood or elsewhere over the last few years. And yeah seriously, sell out? No way. The guy just knew when to leave and retain a legacy. He climbed up the ranks and hit the peak at lightspeed, put in his time, and was ready to do other things in life. Totally respectful to me. Him coming back to the ring off and on throughout and not just doing a one night showing is even further proof that he really cares. You could see it in his eyes this past Monday, he loves being back in the ring when he can.

Not to mention DAMN did he look like he was in top shape this Monday. He's definitely been training and gearing up for Survivor Series.

Anyways the only thing that really bothered me about this Raw, and even the Rock was involved with this, was fucking TWITTER. This has to stop. :( ... my friend heard this from somewhere:

"A lot of people backstage at Monday’s RAW were rolling their eyes at the constant Twitter references. As noted before, Vince McMahon is a huge fan of Twitter these days and is fascinated with being able to get terms to trend worldwide."

BOOTS TO ASSES, was great. And Mick's tweet (semi spoilers I guess)

“Why did (The Rock) layeth the smacketh down on my candy ass? I just wanted a hug. I bet he’s feeling quite a bit of remorse right now.”

Now I'm all for stuff like that above. Stir up a little comedy, or fuel some potential drama a little more online with twitter, FOR THOSE WHO REALLY CARE. But please, they have got to stop bringing that garbage in the damn ring itself! If I went to a live show and had to hear wrestlers or Cole stand up and do a promo about twitter, I'd be rolling my eyes myself. Keep twitter on the internet, don't bring it in the shows.

But I guess sports/entertainment in general are going wild with it, but it's a TREND itself that needs to stop.

Also in regards to RAW recently:

Perfectly sums it up.

Here is a cool PPV concept for the WWE:

As much as I am against the censorship bill this shit makes me want to support it. I can't get into any promo Rock or no Rock if the main focus of said promo is plugging twitter.

I firmly believe the WWE and Twitter are in bed business-wise. Twitter is paying the 'E. What's sad is that while they are trying to get Boots to Asses to trend - also trending is random crap like 'Basketball Wives'. I believe they overestimate the power of Twitter.
