Can the button be changed to say 'Strikethrough'? Just having it labeled 'S' isn't intuitive and unless someone read these posts or tries it randomly they won't know.dsheinem wrote:strikethrough and spoiler codes have been added.
It's commonly referred to as "s" mostly because the HTML tags for it are <s>. Similar to how bold is <b>, italics is <i>, and underline is <u>.Hobie-wan wrote:Can the button be changed to say 'Strikethrough'? Ok, then make the S have strikethrough. The B i and u all show the style on the button. Most people aren't going to know it is supposed to be strikethrough just by looking at the button.YoshiEgg25 wrote:It's commonly referred to as "s" mostly because the HTML tags for it are <s>. I second this. I didn't know what that S button was for until I read this thread.Hobie-wan wrote:Ok, then make the S have strikethrough. The B i and u all show the style on the button. Can you look at the code for the B/i/u buttons and extrapolate how to get the S one done perhaps?dsheinem wrote: I don't know how to do that.
