Just wondering what are your guys thoughts on the Original PC Engine DUO. I have come across one for 55 including shipping so far. It is a auction though. The seller has installed a new laser in it. Here is the listing

The System Card is absolutely useless and the Tennoke Bank cards are just used to transfer files from one PC Engine to another.

As for the system... yup, $55 is a good deal on it. I think I'll buy it for that! The only concern is that the capacitors have presumably not been replaced. They are prone to leaking eventually on the original Duo. It isn't a ton of work or expense, to be honest, but it does involve soldering. I would definitely go for it, as it is very hard to find a Duo for such a price.

Well, still useful to store stuff for games you're not playing right now like you might on a Saturn with an AR.

The Duo is certainly a good deal right now, but with 3+ days left it is going to go up.

Especially the game over screens.

Anyone know what happened to the PCEngineFX forums?

System is up to 76 dollars including shipping. Trying to decide if it is worth waiting to get a refurbished DUO-R with a region mod. What do you guys think, this is one I am looking at.
