Some possibles.

Late SNES games that have the information on the back of the cart molded in instead of a sticker.
Both variants of Genesis games that were released in clamshells and cardboard boxes? Contra and Castlevania come to mind

Those aren't grooved cases. They are regular jewel cases, with a holographic card set on top of the manual.
I'm pretty sure my copy of Skull Monkeys has a grooved case.

The Fighters Edge program from capcom titles were on numerous consoles at the time, it was only on PS1 that the games of this type were describe as such thru the new fighters edge package cover design, although many titles (on PS1) didn't receive this treatment even though they came with fighters edge points.

Yes Sega All Stars on DC is their greatest hits equivalent but in a small scale due to the consoles short lifespan, and it's exclusive and unique to the US as the UK or Japan never had a budget series program for their DC I think.

Some Konami NES games came in variants that were either a round or oval 'seal of quality' on them.
