Blu-Ray and DVD games
Did you guys know that Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II and Space Ace have been released on Blu-Ray? Well it made me wonder what other games like this have been released on Blu-Ray and DVD. Can anyone think of others?

DRAGON'S LAIR ON BLU RAY!? WOAH ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
Apparently it's even been given a very nice looking new HD transfer to boot. Damn I might need to go get this!

The Best Dragons Lair with decent controls
The Dragons Lair Trilogy on the Wii also got a video upgrade over the original Laser Disc. I prefer it over the DVD or BlueRay since there is no pause during a chapter access and an Arcade Stick can be used. The Wii and newer home video versions have Play and Watch modes.

interesting.wiki wrote:Examples include Dragon's Lair and Who Shot Johnny Rock?. At least one PC/console game has also been adapted as a DVD TV game: Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness was released in 2006 as a DVD game entitled Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure.

Re: Blu-Ray and DVD games
I found this thread after searching for posts about Who Shot Johnny Rock, which I just picked up for DVD. It's pretty bad, but kind of kitschy bad, so I don't mind.
Anyway, noiseredux, I think this is a project for you:

It's a DVD choose your own adventure slasher flick.

The AnimePlay series of visual novels are DVDs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AnimePlay
Most of these were released during the early-mid 2000s and the game instructions recommend using a standard DVD player or PS2. Some of them are quite fun, Amazon has several still in stock.
GameFAQs has "DVD Player" listed as a game system, so you can probably find some more stuff there:
