There are tons of good PSP games, especially RPGs. The main problem I find is that stores only stock a small selection, usually just a handful shitty/recent/sprots games. The internet will be your best friend for PSP collecting.
If you like Final Fantasy, you can get I, II, and War of the Lions for about $30 total.

Re: Starting Out with the PSP
Thanks for all the recommendations. Checked out gamestop today and saw around a dozen games I'd like to eventually pick up. Starting out with Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles.
Does anyone know how to get a snes emulator running on a psp 2001 with ta88v2 motherboard and ofw 6.60? I wants to play me some EARTHBOUND
EDIT: got it working. Hooray for Half-Byte loader
