ooh there is a swap meet?? where is this at? How are prices typically? I could potentially be interested in going up there with you if you are interested...

Check the link. I've not made it to Arcade Expo because I always forget or find out after it's done for the year so I don't know how it will be. I plan on being there most of the day since there's gonna be gaming and stuff going on.

Ok, so I didn't get up too early for the swap meet part. It was all arcade bits though so I don't think I missed anything. Was at the show from around 11 until 8 with a lunch break in the middle of the afternoon. Only had a little over 4 hours sleep so I'm bushed. I was playing pinball and video games most of that time as everything was on free play since there was admission. Played all the way through Smash TV with some random guy and played a bunch of pinball games I hadn't had the chance in the past. Good stuff. Left my initials on Smash TV, Pulstar, and Satan's Hollow.

One guy was selling random stuff. He had a bin full of CED movies as you can see behind these few interesting ones I took pictures of.

I bought a few random silly things while I was there.

Yeah, very nice! Very lucky! Color me a bit jealous to get free play on Smash TV and all those pinball machines. ;)

I saw a lot of talk about the new Houston Game Over, but I didn't see any mention of Player One Video Games. It's in southeast Houston, in the vicinity of the Space Center.

Like Game Over, this wouldn't be the place to go for rock-bottom prices and outrageous bargains, but it's another retro store.

JMustang or 8-bit have been there. I haven't yet since it's way on the other side of town. I see their posts in Craigs all the time.
