I agree. I think it's cool that Nintendo did something like this, as it was always a helpful thing to look up when I was curious about a certain system or game I wanted to go back and try.. I remember playing an awful lot of NES when 16-bit was in it's heyday and this book was a godsend!Ack wrote:The funny thing is, there have been times where I would have killed for a complete index of Super Nintendo games they released, especially with the additional information they provided regarding the games' saving structures.
For the record, the current index they provide on their website isn't entirely accurate. I own a couple of official releases that aren't included on the list, such as the SNES port of Frogger, and there's no mention of the saving system of any of the games.
It's a shame that today, with all the resources and technology available, Nintendo isn't doing a better job of archiving their lists, or supporting older hardware...
