It's not the 'Ted Kord: The Animated Series' but it looks good all the same. I just hope there is at least some nod to Alan Scott but I won't hold my breath on that one.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'd rather have a Flaming C show.

The premiere was excellent! I'm on board with this show. Having this and Young Justice brings me back to the good old days of the old DC Animated Universe from Bruce Timm and Paul Dini

downloaded this and watched it. First of all, good GOD Kevin Michael Richardson has no life. Dude is in EV-ER-Y-THING. TAKE A VACATION!

Other than that, I have to say I was impressed. Still think the CGI Timmverse style is meh, but I'll deffo keep watching because it was pretty well written.

Didn't like the CGI, I'd rather have it hand-drawn. That aside, everything else about it was freaking great! A real treat for a GL fan such as myself.

Yeah, I'm partial to hand drawn animation too, but I didn't feel that the CGI detracted from the show at all. Once I got into the story, I kind of forgot I was even watching CGI.

I like the adult feel of the show. I mean, death is a big part of this episode's story and it isn't glossed over in any way like some shows. I mean we don't see anything gruesome or explicit, but we hear someone scream off screen as he's dying and we hear Hal talk about Lanterns dying. Is this show keeping an evening time slot? I always liked how Justice League Unlimited had an evening time slot and seemed to be able to tell stories with an adult feel. I even remember some joke in one episode about Flash being too fast with women  I also remember an episode, possibly the same one, where he gets laid while inhabiting Lex Luthor's body

So I watched five episodes and I really like it. The only thing about the show that I don't like all that much is Hal Jordon. I liked John Stewart from the Justice League cartoon. He was a no nonsense, no bullshit character, which I like. Hence me being a big Batman fan. Jordon is all about showing off and having a sleazy pick up line for every female he encounters. Plus, he's too perfect. I liked flawed heroes and he just seems like one big hero cliche. Brave, good looking, and reckless, and gets all the girls....boring. I would enjoy the show a lot more if John Stewart was the main character, or maybe even that Kyle Raner guy, though I don't know much about him.

His support cast is great though. I like Kilowog, the Red Lantern guy and the ship AI (who reminds me of Edi from Mass Effect). I will watch the show just for those guys. I like the idea of the show being about the Green Lantern corps more so than I do it being about the adventures of Hal Jordon. I hope we see more Lantern characters as the show goes on, as all the ones I've seen so far are more interesting than he is, including that queen character I saw in episode five.

The animation I think works really well once you get used to it, the story telling works for me, and there's no shortage of action. Overall, I like the show and was wondering what everyone else thinks of it. I think this and Young Justice are proudly carrying the DC flag and doing a good job of it.
