Questions about Sega CDs

Post by All Hail The New Flesh »

Theres something that I really want to know, I recently bought a Genesis Model 1 with a Sega CD Model 1, and since I have a Genesis Model 2, I was wondering that if its possible to connect a Model 2 Genesis with a Model 1 Sega CD. I seen people plugging a Model 1 Genesis with a Model 2 Sega CD, I was just wondering if its possible.

Yes its quite possible but it deffinately looks better with the original genesis. Speaking of which I find the original better looking in general, I dont know about you guys.

I dunno, something about those blood-red accents and the volume slider on the original... just gives it a more time-appropriate retro look, but I must admit, the model 2 Genny with the model 2 CD looked slick... until you put a 32X on it, and then it looks like something miniature aliens would have landed in.

lol yea, I love my 32x and it filters out the regular Genesis's fuzzy video, but not audio unfortunately :(

I'm one of those guys who went all the way with the original genesis plus the Sega CD plus the 32X, and I have to wonder: when did the 32X look good on anything?

I loved my Virual Racing Deluxe and NBA Jam 32X, but the structural design and appearance of the 32X was an abomination!
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.
