Which NES zapper is your favorite?

I know the orange was the original color, and I usually like to get whatever the original form of something was, but I always liked the grey Zapper. I didn't have NES back when it was new. When I finally got mine, I got it with a grey Zapper. So to me, I guess, the grey Zapper is the original.

Correct. We had the realistic Megatron P-38, the black Sega Light Phaser, and the gray Zapper. After the legislation that toy guns needed to not look realistic and have bright orange tips or flourescent colors Megatron became a tank, the Phaser went away, and the Zapper turned orange.

Ah, I win then! I always thought the orange one was the original one, then they changed it to grey because it looked retarded. I guess some one told me long ago that the orange was the original, and I was never corrected until now.

Correct. We had the realistic Megatron P-38, the black Sega Light Phaser, and the gray Zapper. After the legislation that toy guns needed to not look realistic and have bright orange tips or flourescent colors Megatron became a tank, the Phaser went away, and the Zapper turned orange.

They both look cool. The orange one is the one I remember from when I was younger, but they both look good. Ideally you would have one of each. One for each hand.
