Hi guys, was just remembering the days when I first had a Sega Saturn, and my dad used to buy me Saturn magazines from time to time.
Some where the official Sega Saturn magazine (my fave one!) and then there was mean machines Sega and maybe another. So random ones, didn't get them every month.
This is where I THINK the demo of this game was from. Its not from Sega flash 1 that came with the system. (UK here guys).
What was cool about the demos was that you could play the music from them too. Now the music bit is important too for description...
This is what I remember: the game was top down, sort of looked like the times when GTA was a good game series. You had cars (i think they where cars) you drive around and shoot.
The music reminded me of some 70's cop shows. And you could play the music track on a CD player.
Another thing that makes this unique is some place maybe in the magazine it recommended that you turn your TV on it's side to play this game. Not sure why though, because it was not an arcade shooter.
To this day I have never come across the actual game... so maybe it was axed or something.
help? (I know it is only a demo, but playing it again would be a nostalgagasm!)

sounds interesting (a TATE Twisted Metal style game?!) No idea, though. Was it 2d or 3d? What year, approx.?

Sounds kinda like Crimewave.

Here's a link to info on the demo, which by the way, was only released in EUR.

Re: Help identifying a sega saturn game
I was thinking Crimewave as well, there's not much in the way of isometric games on the Saturn so I really have no clue what it could be other than that. I certainly don't know why they'd recommend you to turn your screen sideways for Crimewave either. Hmm... I will have to do some research.
