I just finished reading Thor: The World Eaters today. Pretty good read. I might start checking out Thor books again. I stayed away for the last few years because I really don't like JMS. I didn't realize that he was done and Matt Fraction had taken over.

One part that really bothered me, though, was that Thor missed Loki. So he brought him back from the dead. Like all he did was swing his hammer and say it, and it was done. WTF?! Seriously?! That's how Loki comes back?!

Was there something about his death that I'm missing that made it this easy?

Because if it was really that easy, why doesn't Thor bring back all the dead Avengers?

I am both pround and jealous. Awesome.

Also, how is RUSE, a DC-relaunch recontinuing off the old Crossgen series, doing? So much comics to get rid of at home.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

The Black Mirror was awesome, creepy, and the best Batman story I have read in a while.
What I said on my site about the final issue in the Black Mirror story arc:
Two weeks ago I stated:
"I really don’t know who’s creepier the Joker or Commissioner Gordon’s son… and I think the two have a lot in common.”
Last Week In Comics I was right.
While the story was predictable it’s so well written that it kept me on the edge of my seat, it was full of tension between all characters from Gordon Sr. to the Joker himself, and it was creepy as hell. I really think that Detective Comic’s last story every will be my favorite one ever… unless Snyder brings better stories to the new Batman self titled series.

I don't know why, but prices on a first print of Animal Man # 1 on ebay are pretty high right now. This seems to be becoming a collector's item for some reason. You guys might want to get your hands on a copy. What's the deal with this particular issue?

Because it's very early, pivotal Grant Morrison work. The prices aren't that high on them, though. Here's one for $5.99 for you, if you were looking:
