Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I thought only TSA could have such a tin ear in the United States. Turns out it's epidemic.

Totally different from doing so around your friends that know you are joking. Even before people lost their ability to reason because of 9-11, if he had said the same sort of thing in an airport or in reference to a world leader he would have been in deep shit.
This.

More and more people seem to think that their over-exercised discourse behind the supposed veil of anonymity on the internet is acceptable in the real world.

There's an entire generation of these guys out there who think it is perfectly acceptable to butt into a random conversation between strangers and call one of them an idiot.

Did anyone else see the related story?

On a somewhat unrelated note, I don't get why that dude gets the cops on him over that. I used to work at a Software ETC "GAMESTOP" years ago when I had a very angry psycho mallrat come in. He threatened me, I didn't back down because I was right. He pointed a finger at me and yelled over the store of customers and my employee and shouted, "You're fucking dead man! I will fucking kill you! I'd watch my back when you leave tonight!" I called security since it was a mall and they had a Police branch there. Literally the officers came in shrugged and left. I was like, "That bastard threatened my life and he's out in the mall somewhere! I want him arrested!" They didn't care at all.

Now this guy can make a justified scene at Best buy and now fear the SWAT team dropping on him.... The law apparently always works against you.

Not worth risking a trip to jail over and not worth dying for. Everyone fails.

It would be a guy from Aurora.
lol yeah. That's basically how it is.

I can understand the guy getting mad, and I agree with him, it was a poor choice of words. It's a shame all this shit has to happen to him. I mean it would be one thing had they put the game on hold, but he payed for it up front over the phone, then screwed him over. I'd probably go ballistic too, $109 is a lot of money.
